From Adelaide to the magic city in China

A new direct flight between Adelaide and #Shanghai will open up opportunities for further two-way trade, tourism and international students.

 

The wide-bodied A350-900 Airbus offers 286 seats and 15 tonnes of freight capacity on each flight, enabling our state's #exporters to send their products into the Asia market by air freight.

 

China Eastern will operate three return-services each week until August as part of a seasonal service, with the airline set to return in December.

 

#China remains the state's largest two-way trading partner with $3.9 billion worth of merchandise goods exported to China in the year to April 2026.
