For the first time in its seven-year history, Sohn Hearts & Minds, Australia’s premier investor event and thought leadership conference will be held in Adelaide in November 2024.
Sohn Hearts & Minds brings together international thought leaders, research scientists, fund managers, surprise guests and entertainers, in support of Australian medical research, for a one-day annual conference.
More than 600 senior representatives and key decision-makers from over 450 organisations will gather to hear unique insights. Attendees include ultra-high-net worth investors and the Chief Investment Officers of some of Australia’s leading industry and retail super funds, representing more than $500 billion of wholesale funds under management.
The conference is expected to bring interstate and international guests to the state and will donate 50 per cent of funds to support medical research.
“Sohn Hearts & Minds is proud to partner with the South Australian Government to deliver the 2024 Investment Leaders Conference,” said Matthew Grounds AM, Sohn Hearts & Minds Co-Founder.
“We’re excited to bring the conference to Adelaide’s Festival Theatre next November, where attendees will experience the best of South Australia all while raising vital funds to build medical research capabilities across the nation.”
The 2023 conference, which concluded today in Sydney, featured speakers such as famed hedge fund manager Dan Loeb from New York-based Third Point; Dr Peter Attia, world-leading longevity expert and founder of Early Medical; Professor Misty Jenkins AO, WEHI and Cathie Wood of ARK Invest.
Sohn Hearts & Minds is on track to raise more than $60 million for medical research through conference ticket sales and donated fees from its listed investment company, known as Hearts and Minds Investments.
